Master of Horror Returns: Vikram Bhatt’s 3D Supernatural Thriller Set for June Release

Vikram Bhatt, widely regarded as the architect of modern Indian horror, is finally ready to bring his latest 3D spectacle to the big screen. After a series of delays from its original November 2025 slot, Bollywood Hungama has exclusively learned that the film is now locked for a June 2026 theatrical release.
A High-Tech Reunion
The project marks a significant reunion between Bhatt and actor Mimoh Chakraborty, fifteen years after their successful collaboration on Haunted 3D (2011). Joining them in this supernatural journey is Chetna Pande. True to Bhatt’s signature style, the film has been shot specifically for the 3D format, promising an immersive experience that goes beyond standard conversion.
Refined by Audience Feedback
The path to release involved a unique creative pivot. Following the teaser launch in September, Bhatt chose to listen to audience critiques regarding the visual aesthetic. The Shift to Realism. Responding to feedback that the VFX-heavy backgrounds felt artificial, Bhatt embarked on a 12-day reshoot at authentic locations. The Director’s Vision is interesting. In an exclusive chat, Bhatt explained, “We generated a lot of VFX plates for the background, but it didn’t look real enough. We have always been in the habit of listening to good advice, so we incorporated shots from actual locations to enhance the film.”
A Bold Promise for 3D Cinema
Bhatt is not holding back on expectations, claiming the technical quality of this project surpasses his previous work.
“I can tell you that my upcoming film will have the best 3D to date in Indian cinema,” Bhatt stated. “I just saw some 3D shots and I was jumping with joy!”
Talking about the film, it is produced by Anand Pandit, Rakesh Juneja, and Shwetambari Bhatt, the film is strategically positioned for a June release to capitalize on the summer audience. With the director’s track record and the promise of groundbreaking visuals, horror aficionados have much to look forward to this season.
