Shilpa Shirodkar Set for Bollywood Comeback After 26 Years with Malamaal Weekly 2
Veteran actress Shilpa Shirodkar is set to return to Hindi cinema after a 26-year hiatus, joining the cast of the upcoming comedy Malamaal Weekly 2. Shirodkar, whose last Bollywood appearance was in the late M.F. Husain’s Gaja Gamini (2000), officially signed onto the project after responding enthusiastically to the script and her role.
Directed by Amit Joshi known for Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (2024) Malamaal Weekly 2 boasts an ensemble cast featuring Raveena Tandon, Parineeti Chopra, and returning franchise lead Paresh Rawal. Producers are currently finalizing additional key roles for the comic caper.
