Jio Studios and Collective Studios Reveal ‘Krishna’ Teaser at NAB 2026

In a landmark move for Indian cinema, Jio Studios and Collective Studios’ Historyverse have unveiled the first global teaser for their upcoming feature, Krishna. The reveal took place at the NAB Show 2026 in Las Vegas, marking a significant intersection of traditional storytelling and futuristic technology. Talking about the film, it is directed by Manu Anand, the film was showcased during Microsoft’s keynote, “Powering Intelligent Media,” as a prime example of AI moving from experimentation to large-scale cinematic production.

An AI-Native Production Pipeline

Unlike traditional films that rely on standard VFX or animation, Krishna is built on an AI-native pipeline developed by Galleri5 (Collective Artists Network’s in-house platform). Talking about the Infrastructure the system runs on Microsoft Azure, utilizing advanced AI and cloud capabilities to handle everything from world-building to final shot output.

Creative Control: Despite the heavy tech integration, the process remains director-led, ensuring that AI serves the artistic vision rather than replacing it. Scale and Soul: While the film promises massive spectacle, the creators emphasize a focus on emotional authenticity, music, and performance.
