According to a source speaking to India Today, the next shooting schedule will take place in Mhow, a town renowned for its British-era army cantonment. Bhansali’s team plans to utilize this historic location for a 15-day shoot, taking advantage of its authentic pre-independence military backdrop to heighten the film’s period drama appeal.
The insider shared, “The team will be shooting for close to 15 days here, with key sequences featuring Vicky Kaushal and Ranbir Kapoor. Currently, they are awaiting permissions, and once cleared, the actors will fly to Madhya Pradesh to start filming.” The involvement of stars Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal highlights the importance of this shoot, which will unfold amidst carefully recreated period settings. This location choice complements the film’s ensemble cast, which also includes Alia Bhatt, as they bring Bhansali’s richly layered narrative to life.
