IIFA 2026 Winners: ‘Dhurandhar’ Dominates with Best Film, Best Director, and Best Actor; ‘The Bards of Bollywood’ Named Best Web Series*
Aditya Dhar’s espionage thriller Dhurandhar emerged as the night’s biggest victor at the 2026 IIFA Awards, sweeping key categories including Best Film, Best Director (Aditya Dhar), and Best Actor for Ranveer Singh. Dhar also secured individual honors for Best Story, Best Screenplay, and Best Dialogues, cementing the film’s dominant showing across main categories.
In acting honors, Aneet Padda won Best Actress for Saiyaara, while supporting performance awards went to Huma Qureshi (Jolly LLB 3) and Sanjay Dutt (Dhurandhar). Akshaye Khanna received the award for Performance in a Negative Role for Dhurandhar. The film also captured technical accolades in Cinematography, Editing, and Sound Design, alongside Music Direction for Shashwat Sachdev.
Saiyaara performed strongly in musical categories, securing Best Lyrics for Irshad Kamil, Best Male Playback Singer for Faheem Abdullah, and Best Female Playback Singer for Shreya Ghoshal. Ahaan Panday (Saiyaara) and Rasha Thadani (Azaad) took home the Best Debut awards in their respective categories. Internationally, James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire & Ash was awarded Best International Film.
In the digital domain, Red Chillies Entertainment’s The B*ards of Bollywood earned Best Web Series, with Aryan Khan named Best Director. The series picked up additional supporting acting honors for Anya Singh and Raghav Juyal. Meanwhile, Paatal Lok Season 2 secured primary acting awards for Jaideep Ahlawat and Tillotama Shome, alongside Best Original Story.
In digital feature categories, Baramulla won Best Picture and Best Story, while Stolen yielded Best Direction for Karan Tejpal and Best Leading Actor for Abhishek Banerjee. Sanya Malhotra won Best Actress (Digital) for Mrs.
Rounding out the non-fiction entries, The Roshans won Best Docuseries, and The Traitors was named Best Reality Show. The ceremony successfully celebrated artistic achievements spanning both traditional cinematic releases and streaming media.
