However, the superstar later had to step away from the project due to scheduling conflicts. Reports indicated that while SRK was genuinely enthusiastic about sharing the screen with Rajinikanth, he chose to prioritize his upcoming film King, which holds deep personal significance as it marks the big-screen debut of his daughter, Suhana Khan.
With SRK out, filmmaker Nelson Dilipkumar has reportedly turned to Hrithik Roshan to fill the massive slot. He revealed that he is dying to play a quirky, gray character again specifically citing his memorable, satirical cameo as the superstar Zaffar in Zoya Akhtar’s 2009 film Luck by Chance. Fans are now wondering if his upcoming stint in Jailer 2 might just give him the chance to play the unconventional role he is craving.
