“Hamara Satya. Hamara Itihaas.”: ‘Ramayana’ Makers Launch Massive Outreach Campaign Across 400+ Schools

In one of the first major promotional moves for Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming cinematic epic, the makers of Ramayana have announced a massive, nationwide school outreach campaign. Kicking off on July 9, 2026, the initiative aims to connect with over five lakh students across 400+ schools in 18 cities, introducing the younger generation to the core values and narratives of the timeless Indian epic ahead of the film’s release.
Rather than relying on conventional movie promotions, the campaign is structured as an interactive educational and creative program built around the theme “Hamara Satya. Hamara Itihaas.” (Our Truth. Our History.).
Interactive Classroom Activities Planned:
Students will engage with the epic through targeted drawing competitions and sessions. Quiz competitions and classroom discussions will focus on the characters, themes, and moral values of the story. The program is designed to spark discussions between children and their families regarding the cultural heritage and significance of the Ramayana.
In a statement sharing their vision, the makers noted:
“Ramayana has lived on for generations through stories, values, and shared memory. As we build towards bringing Ramayana to the big screen, we wanted children to experience the epic not just as mythology they have heard of, but as a story of courage, duty, love, and righteousness that continues to inspire even today.”
