Saleem Siblings, the independent production banner spearheaded by real-life Bollywood siblings Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem, has officially announced the theatrical release date for their highly anticipated venture, Baby Do Die Do. The stylish neo-noir crime comedy is locked to hit theaters nationwide on July 3, 2026.
The official release date announcement was accompanied by a striking, mysterious first-look poster that gives audiences a glimpse into a dark, eccentric cinematic universe.
Introducing India’s First “Desi Hitwoman”
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Nachiket Samant, the film features Huma Qureshi leading the narrative as the titular character, Baby KarMarkar. The production house has revealed a fascinating character hook to anchor the comedy-thriller: Baby is being introduced to Indian cinema as India’s very first “desi hitwoman.”
While the narrative and plot details are currently being kept under wraps to preserve the script’s core mystery, the ensemble cast promises an eccentric, high-performance dynamic:
Huma Qureshi as Baby KarMarkar, the sharp-shooting protagonist.
Sikandar Kher in a gritty, high-intensity role.
Chunky Pandey adding his signature comedic flair to the dark landscape.
The stylized film is mounted as a collaborative production, with Saleem Siblings backing the project in direct association with Pune-04 Pictures and Element 3 Entertainment.
The Vision: Slick, Unpredictable, and Chaotic
Reflecting on the creative execution of the crime comedy, producer Saqib Saleem expressed immense excitement about launching their banner’s most ambitious project to date.
Producer Saqib Saleem: “With Baby Do Die Do, we wanted to create a world that feels slick, unpredictable, and deeply immersive. We are incredibly excited for audiences to finally step into this chaotic world with us this July.”
