The heartwarming family drama Little Thomas, backed by filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, has officially secured its nationwide theatrical release date for October 23, 2026. Directed by Kaushal Oza, the film stars Gulshan Devaiah, Rasika Dugal, and child artist Hridansh Parekh in the title role. Produced by Luminoso Pictures, Civic Studios, Good Bad Films, and Flip Films, this project marks Kashyap’s first venture into children’s cinema since his 2007 animated movie Return of Hanuman.
Set in 1990s Goa, the story centers on seven-year-old Thomas, an only child who desperately wants a baby brother. After overhearing that babies are born when parents kiss, Thomas notices his constantly arguing parents have stopped affection altogether. Determined to get a sibling, the young boy hatches innocent and hilarious plans to force his parents to perform the “yucky act.”
The cast and crew expressed immense joy in bringing this innocent story to life. Gulshan Devaiah described the movie as the cutest project of his career, praising the rewarding experience of working with Rasika Dugal and director Kaushal Oza.
