‘Gunmaaster G9’ Song ‘Dard-E-Dil Dard-E-Jigar’ Released; Himesh Reshammiya and Akasa Singh Reunite for New Track
The makers of Gunmaaster G9 have officially released the film’s latest single, ‘Dard-E-Dil Dard-E-Jigar.’ Performed by Himesh Reshammiya and Akasa Singh, the track features lyrics written by Sonia Kapoor Reshammiya. The song follows the earlier releases ‘Afsaana Banaaya Aapne’ and ‘Do Din Ki Zindagi,’ adding another track to the film’s promotional music campaign ahead of its nationwide theatrical release on November 27, 2026.
Reshammiya, who serves as the film’s primary music composer, reunites with singer Akasa Singh for the track, which blends classic melodic elements with contemporary arrangements.
Directed by Aditya Datt, Gunmaaster G9 is produced by Deepak Mukut, Hunar Mukut, and Sangeeta Ahir under the banner of Soham Rockstar Entertainment. The feature is presented by Soham Rockstar Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., with Pen Movies managing domestic theatrical distribution and Phars Films handling international territories.
The film stars Emraan Hashmi in the lead role of Eshwar, an ordinary dairy-farm owner pushed to extreme circumstances by romantic devotion. Genelia Deshmukh portrays the female lead, marking her first on-screen pairing with Hashmi. Additionally, Aparshakti Khurana features in a key supporting role characterized by complex grey shades and a dramatic backstory.

Crucially, Gunmaaster G9 marks a major creative reunion between Emraan Hashmi, director Aditya Datt, and composer Himesh Reshammiya, over two decades after their landmark collaboration on the 2005 romantic thriller Aashiq Banaya Aapne. Positioned as a broad commercial entertainer combining high-octane action, drama, and romance, the soundtrack plays a central role in building momentum ahead of the release.
With the launch of ‘Dard-E-Dil Dard-E-Jigar,’ the production team continues to roll out its multi-song marketing strategy. Gunmaaster G9 is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on November 27, 2026.
