Actor Yash is broadening his involvement with Nitesh Tiwari’s epic Ramayana beyond playing Ravana and serving as co-producer. Monster Mind Creations, the production banner founded by the superstar, has launched a dedicated distribution wing that will independently handle the film’s theatrical release across Karnataka. This strategic move marks a major milestone as his company steps into large-scale theatrical distribution alongside its core production ventures.
Given Yash’s immense stardom and influence in Karnataka, Monster Mind Creations’ role in managing the regional distribution is expected to significantly boost the film’s theatrical reach in the state. The arrangement positions the actor’s home banner at the forefront of the Karnataka release strategy as the makers finalize nationwide and global plans for the mythological drama.
Directed by Dangal fame Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana is being mounted as a grand two-part cinematic adaptation. The Pan-India spectacle features a stellar multi-industry cast, including Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, and Yash as Ravana.
Monster Mind Creations’ Karnataka deal completes a robust pan-India and global distribution network assembled by the producers. International theatrical rights are held by Sony Pictures, while Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions will oversee the Hindi-speaking North Indian market. Prominent producer Dil Raju will manage the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Think Studios will drive the release in Tamil Nadu, and Mukesh Mehta’s E4 Entertainment will supervise distribution in Kerala.
Jointly produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios and Monster Mind Creations, Ramayana is designed as a visual marvel utilizing cutting-edge special effects and grand production design. Yash’s expanded role as actor, co-producer, and state distributor underlines his deep commitment to the project.
