In a hilarious meta-moment, Akshay addresses the theatre audience directly, explaining that the crew had shot a specific portion for the film but couldn’t figure out where it fit. Their solution? Screening it right in the middle of the interval! This funny message is immediately followed by the song ‘Kyun’, featuring Akshay Kumar and Disha Patani.

According to trade sources, this creative gamble has paid off beautifully. The film held its paid previews yesterday, June 25, from 7:30 PM onwards, and the mid-movie surprise caught everyone off guard in the best way possible.

“It led to a lot of laughter. Many viewers, who had just stood up to rush to the washroom or grab snacks, immediately sat back down when they heard Akshay Kumar’s voice. They thoroughly enjoyed the song before finally stepping out for their break,” a trade source shared.

To make sure the joke landed perfectly, distributors reportedly instructed theatre chains not to turn on the house lights when the interval slate appeared or while the song ‘Kyun’ was playing. This clever move preserved the surprise and kept the theatrical energy buzzing.
