Domestic Box Office Performance
Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri earned ₹7.75 crore on its opening day, followed by ₹5.25 crore on day 2. On day 3 (Saturday), it maintained this pace with another ₹5.25 crore nett collection, bringing its total domestic earnings to ₹18.25 crore nett so far. Critical Reception
A review by Hindustan Times noted, “On the technical side, the music by Vishal-Sheykhar doesn’t provide the necessary momentum. Lucky Ali’s track, for example, fails to make an impact and only drags an already sluggish first half, which desperately needs to be peppier. Overall, TMMTMTTM is like a scenic postcard with no message on the back. You might stay for the warmth of the veteran actors, but you’ll leave still searching for the love the title promised.”
About the Film
Produced by Karan Johar under Dharma Productions, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri reunites Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday, who previously worked together in the 2019 film Pati Patni Aur Woh. The film also features Jackie Shroff and Neena Gupta in key roles.
Kartik recently shared his thoughts on the film, telling news agency PTI, “I feel lucky to have got this film. The way Karan (Shrikant Sharma, writer) crafted the story and characters, and how Sameer sir brought his vision to life through direction, was fantastic. There are very few filmmakers who can deliver a message in an entertaining and non-preachy way in a romance film.”
