Ek Din, the romantic drama marking acclaimed actress Sai Pallavi’s Hindi feature debut alongside Junaid Khan, has officially made its digital premiere following its theatrical run. The film began streaming globally on Amazon Prime Video on July 16, 2026. Apart from the original Hindi audio, the digital release includes dubbed versions in Telugu (Okka Roju) and Tamil (Oru Naal), catering to Sai Pallavi’s extensive South Indian fanbase.

Produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions and directed by Sunil Pandey, Ek Din is an official adaptation of the 2016 Thai romantic hit One Day.
Talking about the story, the plot centers on Rohan (Junaid Khan), a quiet and reserved man who has secretly held affection for his colleague Meera (Sai Pallavi) for years. During an office trip to Japan, Rohan makes a wish at a local “Fortune Bell” to be her boyfriend for just a single day, setting off the emotional core of the film.

Ek Din originally arrived in cinemas on May 1, 2026. Despite significant anticipation surrounding Sai Pallavi’s entry into Hindi cinema and the backing of a major production house, the film faced a tough road at the box office, receiving mixed-to-negative critical reviews and struggling to draw theater audiences in both its Hindi and Telugu releases.
