Kartik Aaryan Launches Dopamine Studios, Teams Up with Kabir Khan for New Sports Drama

Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan is broadening his creative horizons by officially launching his own production banner, Dopamine Studios. Marking his debut as a producer, Aaryan has joined hands with acclaimed director Kabir Khan for an untitled sports drama, which will be co-produced under his newly established banner.
This project marks the second collaboration between Kartik Aaryan and Kabir Khan, following their critical success with the 2024 biographical sports film Chandu Champion, which earned Aaryan the Best Actor honor at India’s 72nd National Film Awards. Their new film is inspired by the inspiring journey of Tajamul Islam, the young Kashmiri athlete who achieved international fame as a kickboxing champion. Aaryan will portray a dedicated kickboxing coach who mentors and guides a young girl from Kashmir toward athletic success.
Driven by a strong personal connection to the story, Aaryan decided to step behind the camera to support the narrative on a deeper creative level. A source close to the project revealed that the actor was profoundly moved by the real-life journey’s core themes of courage, conviction, and passion. To ensure an authentic performance, Aaryan underwent rigorous kickboxing training prior to filming. Production for the movie is currently underway, with key schedules being shot across locations in Mumbai and Kashmir.
The establishment of Dopamine Studios signifies a major career milestone for Kartik Aaryan, reflecting his growing ambition to champion powerful, resilience-driven stories from behind the camera. The partnership with Kabir Khan underscores their shared dedication to bringing impactful, real-life narratives to the screen. Additional details regarding the film’s official title, supporting ensemble cast, and global theatrical release plans will be unveiled by the makers in due course.
