In a rare and unexpected industry collaboration, Zee Studios has officially partnered with T-Series to distribute the upcoming comedy Pati Patni Aur Woh Do. This marks only the second time these two giants have joined forces since the 2022 film Jhund, a move that has quickly become a major talking point in trade circles.
A Strategic Partnership
The partnership signals a shifting landscape in film distribution. According to a source from Bollywood Hungama, upcoming promotional assets and posters for the film will now feature the Zee Studios logo, underscoring their commitment to the project’s theatrical rollout.
“This collaboration shows how new and surprising partnerships can emerge depending on the circumstances,” the source noted. Fans won’t have to wait long for a first look, as a teaser is expected to drop within the next week.
Cast and Crew
The film boasts a fresh and vibrant ensemble cast, the main lead include – Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Rakul Preet Singh. The director of the film include Mudassar Aziz returns to the franchise after the success of the 2019 Pati Patni Aur Woh, which netted ₹86.89 crore. Talking about the plot of the film, it is set in the quirky world of Prajapati Pandey, the film promises a signature blend of vibrant drama, romance, and high-energy comedy.
Release Details
Produced by Bhushan Kumar (T-Series) and Renu Ravi Chopra (B R Studios), the film was originally slated for a Holi release on March 4. After the reshuffle, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do is now officially locked for a nationwide theatrical release on May 15, 2026.
