Hunter – Tootega Nahi Todega Review:

Hunter – Tootega Nahi, Todega is the recent OTT debut of Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty. The 8-episode-based series revolves around the character of a rogue former police officer who is always on a run to nab criminals. He is trapped while he is seen getting trapped during a given assignment and he is seen running behind him. At the same time, he is also seen finding his stolen kidney for the same. Thanks to the brain cells who seem to enjoy the show.

Suniel Shetty in his debut series – Hunter – Tootega Nahi, Todega has both style and glamour in his character, while gracing the screen he creates his own aura. Despite the mess in his life, he chooses to return where he finds all things going wrong and there is virtually no chance of redemption. You can find the idea of action and humor blend to be cringe with borderline funny elements. However, there are sequences in the series that perfectly work in the right direction as he confronts the goons seen in the bad light in the hospital. His good presence in the sequence and even in the entire series makes him a man of sel-appreciation taking to the next level.

The series tries to highlight the issue of organ trafficking in India and how the poor and helpless become victims of the same. The director has tried to create a sense of urgency and desperation throughout the movie, which is commendable. However, the execution of the plot is weak and lacks depth.

Suniel Shetty’s chiselled glamour and charisma are still intact, but unfortunately, that is not enough to save the movie. His performance in the movie is mediocre, and he fails to evoke any emotion from the viewers. The supporting cast is equally unimpressive, and their performances fail to make any impact. Also, it is marred by poor editing, subpar camera work, and a lack of coherence in the storytelling. The pacing of the movie is uneven, and it fails to hold the viewers’ attention throughout. The music of the movie is average and fails to add any value to the movie. The background score is loud and jarring, which distracts the viewers from the on-screen action.

Hunter – Tootega Nahi Todega Review – The last word

It is a disappointing debut for Suniel Shetty in the OTT space. The movie tries to highlight a crucial issue but fails to deliver a coherent and engaging story. The lackluster performances, poor editing, and weak execution make it a forgettable experience for the viewers. The only positive aspect of the movie is Suniel Shetty’s enduring charisma, which still manages to shine through. Overall, the movie is a missed opportunity and fails to make an impact.
