Bollywood Celebrities and PM Modi Mark India’s 80th Independence Day

On August 15, Bollywood actors joined Prime Minister Narendra Modi in celebrating India’s 80th Independence Day, sharing inspirational messages focused on unity, hope, and national growth. The country observed the historic day to honor its liberation from British rule in 1947.

Prominent film personalities took to social media to express their patriotism and pride. Actor Suniel Shetty posted a picture with the Tricolour, sharing that seeing the national flag always fills his heart with immense pride. Ajay Devgn marked the occasion by celebrating the freedom to dream, create, and build a progressive future. Addressing the nation from the iconic Red Fort, Prime Minister Narendra Modi outlined an ambitious vision for a developed nation, known as Viksit Bharat, by 2047. He expressed confidence that as the world’s most populous country commits to such a massive goal, global perspectives on India will shift dramatically.
