Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is set to return as host of the Filmfare Awards for the first time since 2008. The 70th edition of the prestigious ceremony will take place on October 11, 2025, at the EKA Arena in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Khan will share hosting duties with actor Maniesh Paul and filmmaker Karan Johar.
Filmfare announced the news on their official Instagram, calling Khan “The Superstar, The Icon, The Enigma.” The post read,

The 53rd Filmfare Awards in 2008 marked his last appearance as host, alongside Saif, Karan, and Vidya Balan. Known for his wit and charm, Khan’s hosting has always been a highlight of the event.
