Dhurandhar 2 Trailer Offers a Thrilling Glimpse into Ranveer Singh’s Deadly Mission, Promising a New Wave of Revenge
The makers of Dhurandhar: The Revenge have released an electrifying new trailer that sets the tone for an intense and action-packed continuation of the story. Serving as the sequel and the second part of a planned duology, the film is directed by Aditya Dhar and stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role. The cast also includes Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor, and Gaurav Gera, with several actors reprising their roles from the first film.
The trailer opens with a voiceover referencing the fallout after the death of Rehman Dakait (played by Akshaye Khanna), signaling a darker, more dangerous chapter ahead. It offers brief but powerful glimpses of Ranveer Singh’s character, Jaskirat Singh Rangi, before he adopts the undercover identity of Hamza Ali Mazar — hinting at the layered complexity of his mission.

Ranveer plays an Indian intelligence officer deeply embedded in Karachi’s criminal and political networks in Pakistan. As the story unfolds, his mission takes on a personal edge, driven by the desire to avenge devastating attacks in India while facing threats that endanger both his cover and his life. The film is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar under the banners of Jio Studios and B62 Studios.
Notably, the sequel was shot back-to-back with the original. Principal photography began in July 2024 in Bangkok and spanned various locations including Punjab, Chandigarh, Maharashtra, Ladakh, and Himachal Pradesh.
Some international scenes were filmed in Thailand, doubling as Pakistan settings. The film’s technical crew features music composer Shashwat Sachdev, cinematographer Vikash Nowlakha, and editor Shivkumar V. Panicker.
Blending espionage, revenge, and high-octane action, Dhurandhar: The Revenge promises to elevate the scale of its predecessor while diving deeper into the protagonist’s journey. The film is slated for theatrical release on March 19, 2026, coinciding with festive celebrations like Gudi Padwa, Ugadi, and Eid al-Fitr.
