Following its heartfelt reception at the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, the teaser for Oslo: A Tail of Promise has been unveiled. This much-anticipated first look captures the same gentle and touching tone that deeply resonated with audiences at the festival.
Presented and produced by actor and dedicated animal advocate John Abraham, Oslo: A Tail of Promise is an intimate nonfiction film that beautifully portrays the profound bond between a Siberian husky named Oslo and Pooja R Bhale, founder of the Protecterra Ecological Foundation.
Speaking about the film and its teaser, John Abraham shared, “The teaser is just a window, but even in those few moments, people can feel Oslo’s presence and Pooja’s truth. That’s all I hoped for. This film invites us to pause, listen, and see life through another being’s eyes.”Directed by Isha Pungaliya, the film explores how animals guide, ground, and heal us in moments when humanity feels most fragmented. Isha added, “We knew this story was powerful, but seeing how instantly and deeply people connect with it has been incredibly moving.
Animals remind us of who we can be at our best, and Oslo carries that reminder in every frame.”At the heart of the film is Pooja’s journey with Oslo. Reflecting on the teaser’s release, she said, “Oslo came into my life as a traumatized dog searching for a home, and he became my teacher.
He taught me to surrender, to accept, and to love without fear. This film is his legacy. ”Amid growing conversations on animal welfare, Oslo: A Tail of Promise stands as a gentle reminder of the unconditional loyalty and companionship animals offer to humans. The film is presented by John Abraham and produced by JA Entertainment and Vaanar Nir. So, time to check the teaser, which are getting viral on social media, have a look at it as shared below:</p>
