We have consistently been at the forefront of news regarding Andaaz 2 since its inception. In November 2023, we reported that production had officially begun. A month later, we shared that the film would feature Aayush Kumar and Akaisha, alongside Natasha Fernandez. Earlier this year, producer-director Suneel Darshan unveiled the film’s teaser, exciting posters, and some of its songs. Now, the makers have finalized the film’s release date.
Release Date Announcement
According to exclusive information from Bollywood Hungama, Andaaz 2 is set to hit cinemas on August 1, 2025. A trade source revealed, “The makers believe this is an ideal date, as there won’t be any major releases on August 8, coinciding with the pre-Independence week. This gives Andaaz 2 a favorable two-week window to establish itself at the box office.”
New Posters Released
On this significant occasion of the release date announcement, the makers of Andaaz 2 also launched four new posters, exclusively with Bollywood Hungama. Three posters highlight the leading actors, while one features all three together.

Director’s Insights
In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama in March 2024, director Suneel Darshan explained, “Honestly, there was no calculation behind making Andaaz 2. When I wrote the script, I realized that Andaaz 2 was a fitting title. While it’s not the same story, the storytelling shares a similar vibe, and it remains a musical and a love triangle, just like Andaaz (2003), and much more.”
Darshan also revealed that he initially considered Aayush for the role of the lead hero’s friend but later changed his mind. Aayush remarked, “I came to meet him, hoping to land an important role. When Suneel sir told me about the change in plan, I felt very fortunate.”
Music Composition
The film’s music, composed by Nadeem, is anticipated to be one of its standout features. Suneel Darshan stated, “We took our time crafting the music, which is crucial to the film’s structure. The era was defined by Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan, and Alka Yagnik. As two decades have passed, we’ve enlisted new and talented singers. I retained Shaan for one of the songs, while Neeraj Shridhar has also contributed. From the younger generation, we have Javed Ali, Palak Mucchal, Asees Kaur, Amit Mishra, Mohd Irfan, and Shadab Faridi, totaling nine singers involved in the project.
