As per the Btown portal Bollywood Hungama has been leading the coverage on Salman Khan’s upcoming war drama, Battle Of Galwan. In December, we revealed that the film’s teaser would be released on Salman’s birthday, December 27, alongside the announcement of the film’s release date. Today, we bring you fresh updates on the project.
The main shoot wrapped up in December, but Salman Khan is now back on set for an additional 15-day schedule. A source shared with Bollywood Hungama,
“Salman Khan, director Apoorva Lakhia, and the team are currently working on patchwork for the film. Alongside this, they are filming a few new scenes, some packed with action.”
Explaining the decision, the source added, “Patchwork was always planned, but the additional scenes were added after the makers and Salman realized their importance to the narrative and overall impact. Salman is determined to leave no stone unturned to make Battle Of Galwan a memorable experience for the audience, so he fully agreed to the extra shoot.
“With the film’s release still nearly three months away, the source confirmed,
“Thankfully, the team has ample time. They are confident the final cut will be ready well before the scheduled release on April 17.”Adding to the excitement, the film’s first song, ‘Maatrubhumi’, was released on January 24.
Fans are now eagerly awaiting the theatrical trailer’s launch. Battle Of Galwan stars Salman Khan alongside Chitrangda Singh. Salman portrays Colonel Bikkumalla Santosh Babu in this gripping drama inspired by a chapter from India’s Most Fearless 3 (2022), authored by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh. The film is based on the real-life clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers in the Galwan Valley on June 15, 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
