Finally the makers of the sports biopic – Soorma is out. The film features the Punjabi Munda Diljit Dosanjh in the lead role playing the hockey player seen all together in a different avatar making the trailer a treat to catch. The film happens to be a biopic, which is based on the life of Sandeep Singh the international hockey player. It also has Taapsee Pannu and Angad Bedi seen in the lead roles apart from the DIljit. The makers finally released in the media in the presence of the enter cast and crew with the lead actors seen in the lead roles. The trio in the show was seen in the similar avatar as seen in the movie during the trailer launch making it an interesting event to catch.

The film is directed by Shaad Ali, which is all set to hit the theatres on 13th July. As you check the trailer, you are ought to get the perfect glimpse of a gripping story of the popular hockey player Sandeep Singh. It starts with a carefree Sandeep who has impressed with the tale of life in his life and then find his final goal in life to get an edge in the sports of hockey. This brings to the end of his passion and life when he is confined to his bed. However, with great conviction and commitment when he stands up after recovering the accident, he returns to the hockey field that was not just challenging for but worth catching on the silver screen.
As you check the lead actors particularly the Punjabi Munda, Diljit he and Tapsee have left no stone unturned to perform the best in the trailer giving one of the best performances for the trailer. It clearly shows the way the two have performed getting perfectly in the shoes of the characters. Also, the film has Angad playing the onscreen brother of Diljit and his trainer who also is good in his performance. The film showcases the life of a hockey player who returns after a dreaded accident and makes his country proud by winning the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup in 2009 along with getting qualified for the 2012 Olympics.
