Yes, she is an actor and singer unlike her mother who did her acting debut in Bollywood with a movie called Aurangzeb. Born as Zara Agha Khan to Indian Singer Salma Agha and Pakistani squash player called Rehmat Khan, while happens to be the granddaughter of Nasurllah Khan. When she was six years old, her parents separated. Her younger brother Liaqat Khan is a gold medallist of Badminton. This gives her a strong family background, rendering a good entry in Bollywood. Her upbringing was both in the UK and other countries, till seven years of age, she remained in London and later headed to Bombay wherein she did her schooling from Jankidevi Public School in Mumbai till her sixth standard and finally left New Jersey followed by shifting to Dubai wherein she went to Dubai American Scientific School.

A number of critics called her the next Parveen Babi with hot and sensual figure along with having the right acting skills. In fact, her decent performance in the said movie even gave her the best female debut award from Zine Cine group. She is now working on a romantic thriller called Desi Kattey of Anand Kumar along with Suniel Shetty, Tia Bajpai and Jay Bhanushali. She would be playing the character of a physiotherapist in the said movie.

It was her mother Salma only, who encouraged her to take up singing since her childhood. Hence she was seen taking up her vocal talent very much early in her school life. Her very first recording was the song called Barbaadiyaan whom she sang along with Ram Sampath in her debut movie- Aurangzeb. Both the critics and audience applauded her singing, which she performed for her debut movie.
