Sanju 1st Weekend Box Office; Breaks all records of 2018 films

The film Sanju, which happens to be a biopic made on the life of Sanjay Dutt has been doing great at the box office. The film which has been directed by Rajkumar Hirani has Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role that has now seen breaking all the records of 2018 by emerging as one of the top grosser making several records and beating Race 3 as well. With collection reaching beyond 100 crore, the film has finally entered into the hundred crore club giving the makers an ear to ear grin. With the collection reaching to 32 crore on the first day, the film has already broken the record of Race 3 that has collected around 28.50.

In fact, as the film went on to collect around 34 crore the second it went on to become the highest grosser for Ranbir Kapoor as well who has been struggling at the silver screen with a couple of flops in his career and few hits in the past few years. It went on to beat the record of Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani with Ranbir doing great with this film getting a huge collect with it. Hence with high collection reaching on Sunday closing to 41 crore beating the record of Race 3 as well with the collection in the first weekend. So, as per reports, the 1st weekend box office for Sanju reached to around 107.52 crore, while Race 3 had only collected 103.25 crore despite releasing on the eve of Eid.

Interestingly, the collection for the film has been carried out with the collection reaching to the highest in the year 2018 despite having non-holidays which was not the case with Race 3. So, with such a huge collection, the film has managed to get a good start for the year and it will continue to fair in the week days and with a good pace, it would for sure collect another 100 by the end of the second weekend.
