Rii Sen is a popular actress from Bengal who was born as Rituparna Sen on 26th July 1978. She has started her career as TV actress and later went to Bengali Cinema followed by other set of movies. She entered in the professional word in 2009 followed by making her entry in small screen. Sen was seen doing Tepantorer Mathe in the same year and later seen in a documentary called Love in India by Q Mukherjee. Later she was seen doing other movies like Many Stories of Love and Hate, which is directed by Shyamal Karmakar that was even screened at the Mumbai International Film Festival.
She then was seen in another film called Gandu wherein she played the lead character. She did a number of movies including Autograph, Kyoekti Meyer Golpo, and Tasher Desh, however, she got recognition with the film called Cosmic Sex, which was directed by Amitabh Chakraborty. Her upcoming movie is Byanka Prithibi. However, for the film Cosmic Sex, she was awarded as the best award at Osian’s Cinefan Festival of Asian and Arab Cinema.
In Bollywood, she is doing her debut with the film X: Past Is Present along with other 11 girls in the movie with Rajat Kapoor as the main lead. Apart from the Bengali cinema, she has been also a regular face in Bengali TV. She has been in the controversy for showcasing herself to be the bold actress over certain Bengali films, which even frowned many people for the same.
