Poster Boys Movie Review : Get Set and Wet to Tickle Your Funny Bones
Director : Shreyas Talpade
Rating – 2.5
The film is said to be inspired by several real events, which is basically the remake of a Marathi movie called Poshter Boyz. So, talking about the plot of the movie, you can find the world upside down for the three mean called Vinay Sharma, Arjun Singh and Jaagavar Chaudhary played by the actors like Bobby Deol, Shreyas Talpade and Sunny Deol respectively. They soon find their pictures with the ads promoting themselves with things like vasectomy and similar things. And then we see their journey getting the men humiliated with their families and society that try to rise up against the system taht has landed them into this perplexing mess in the first place. So, what happen’s the next?
The man called Sameer Patil who has directed and written the film Poshter Boyz was able to pen somewhere similar and with some smaller differences still should be applauded for presenting the film of different region to the story in a North Indian milieu. Despite the smaller changes much has been able to witness in the film that differ from the Marathi version. The direction and performances of the actors seemed par as for instnace you can fidn the character of Balwant seems par, while others too remained good. The other factors like editing, direction, screen play and other things remained okay that somehow manages to boost up the entertainment value of the movie.
Poster Boys Last Word
There is much to come along with this film but the resemblance with the Marathi version released last year with the same title seems to have hampered the gleam of the movie. Yet for the Deol’s fans, it can be a worthy and fresh content based movie.
