Talents always find the right address. Sooner or later, if you have the talent, you would always find opportunities knocking your door. This is quiet inevitable in Indian film industry called Bollywood with slew of examples. One such example is of Neha Sharma, who has no film background, no high end connection, no god father to launch, but her talent and destiny helped her to find the right break in the industry. Let’s start from the starting. Neha hails from Bihar, born in the year 1987. She attended Mount Carmel School based in Bhagalpur in Bihar and later went to Delhi to pursue her career in Fashion Designing from the infamous institute called NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology).
Wiki : As far as the break is concerned, she got her debut in one of the Telugu film known as Chirutha, which was released in the year 2007, however, her first break in Bollywood movies was Mohit Suri’s movie called Crook, which was released in the year 2010. Later, Neha Sharma was seen coming in a cameo appearance in the film called Teri Meri Kahaani by Kunal Kohli and then was eventually casted in a full-fledged role in the movie – Kya Super Kool Hai Hum by Ekta Kapoor.
Since her childhood, she was very much fond of listening varied kind of music, dance, and reading and loved to experiment with food. Her temptation for music and dance also led her to learn the great Indian classical dance known as Kathak and contrary to this; she also learned the street hip hop, which is basically the Latin dancing Salsa, along with the Jazz and Jive in London, the UK. In a sense, she has a blend of a good dance whereas as far as her style inspiration is concerned, she calls Kate Moss. One of the interesting ironies she has in her dreams wherein she aspires to launch her own garment brand.
Lastly, the films she did in 6-7 years of film career comprise of Telugu based movie called Chirutha (as said above) followed by Kurradu (another Telugu movie). She then headed to the Hindi movie called Crook (her debut movie in Bollywood), Teri Meri Kahaani, Kya Super Kool Hain Hum, Jayantabhai Ki Luve Story and Yamla Pagla Deewana. Now, you have the most awaited movie hitting the theatres called Youngistaan this weekend. As far as her rewards and recognition is concerned, she was enlisted in several feature lists like No. 1 in Times Poll of Hottest Female Debut and Fastest Rising People of 2010 in India though was not awarded with any of the reputed FilmFare or IIFA awards for her performance. Anyway, this is a just start, she has miles to go!
