Bio – Mugdha Godse is an Indian model and actress who is seen in a number of ads and Bollywood movies. She is a former model and was the semi finalist at 2004’s Femina Miss India contest. She made her entry into Bollywood with the movie Fashion in the year 2008 directed by Madhur Bhandarkar. She was also seen as one of the judges in a Marathi reality show called Marathi Paul Padte Pudhe. Mugdha Godse her done her graduation in Commerce from Marathwada Mitra Mandal College of Commerce based in Pune. As far has her personal life is concerned, she is born and brought up in a middle class family based in Pune. She did her schooling from a Marathi medium school known as Nutan Marathi Vidaylay, Sadashiv Peth in Pune.
As far as her siblings are concerned she has elder sister called Madhura. She has struggled a lot to reach this position in her early days she sold oil, which only gave her 100 Rs on a daily basis. She then headed to work in a gym and finally got the chance to contest in local beauty content. In the year 2002, she participated in Gladrags Mega Model Hunt, wherein she won the title. And in 2004, Godse participated in one of the biggest modelling contest in India – the Femina Miss India contest wherein she was there till the semi finals and later eliminated at this stage. However, she was able to win the title of Miss Perfect Ten.
This gave her a formal entry into the modelling world in Bombay and did a couple of important TV commercials appearing with Shah Rukh Khan in one of the ads of Airtel and Close Up ad as well. She put her five years in modelling doing a number of TV and print ads and several other commercials. Also, as and when she used to get chance in acting in videos she did a couple of music albums as well apart from being busy walking over the runways of national and overseas based ramps. She then got the chance to work in Fashion along with Priyanka Chopra, Arbaz Khan and Kangana Ranut.
Her performance in the movie was applauded as she was able to do a sensational debut drawing many people’s attention towards her. She was even nominated for the Filmfare award in the newcomer category. Her other Bollywood movies include All The Best, Help, Jail, Gali Gali Chor Hai, Heroine, Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster Returns and Will You Marry Me? Her upcoming movies include Oh God! Saare Hain fraud and Afra Tafri.
