Last Friday (on 28 July) we had two movies hitting the theatres. These two films include Mubarakan directed by Aneez Bazmee and the other film called Indu Sarkar which is directed by Madhur Bhandarkar. Now, talking about the collection of the film, neither of these two movies seem to made a great difference at the box office. Although the film Mubarakan seemed to have done when compared to Indu Sarkar, which otherwise showcased a dismal performance despite garnering huge audience expectations. Well, time to check these two films and the way they have performances over the box office in the second weekend.
First, let’s check the first film, Mubarakan starring Arjun Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Ileana D’ Cruz along with Athiya Shetty. The film happens to be a complete family entertainer, which is packed with a sloppy story line along with loads of humor in it, which has kept the boat sailing for the film. The film earned this Saturday and Sunday around 2 crores, which tolled the total collection to a decent figure. As per reports, the second weekend box office collection for Mubarakan netted to around 39 crores. In fact, it was Taran Adarsh who informed the media about the same.
Now, tlalking about the other film, Indu Sarkar, the film managed to collect a very bad collection not only on the first weekend but even during the second collection. Having merely a colection of 3.5 Crores on its first weekend, the film was a big disaster on the second weekend as well. As per reports, the 2nd weekend box office collection for Indu Sarktar tolled to around 7.15 crore. With such a bitter collection on the second weekend collection, the film is nothing but a big disaster on the box office. Now, there is no chance of the film getting the a decent collection, which makes it with a big footfall on it.
