Kiara Advani is a known film actress usually seen in Bollywood movies. She was born on 31st July 1992 in a businessman family of Jagdeep Advani and Genevieve Jaffrey (a teacher). She has a younger brother called Mishaal. Her father is a Sidhi, while her mother is British, while her grandmother comes from Bengali descent. She is also known to be the great granddaughter of popular actor Ashok Kumar apart from being the grand niece of Saeed Jaffrey. Besides, she is also the niece of popular actress Juhi Chawla and model Shaheen. Her family is very much close to Salman Khan as the actor dated even her – Shaheen Jaffrey. In fact, Khan was the man who guided her when she landed in the B Town.
Kiara landed to Mumbai only after watching the film of Aamir Khan – 3 Idiots. After watching the film, she understood that key to success only lays in pursuing one’s passion. Since Kiara wanted to be an actress she asked her parents to tread this career path, which made her land the city of Mumbai in 2010. She then joined two short courses in acting and filmmaking at the prestigious school of acting that belongs to Anupam Kher and the other from Roshan Taneja Institute as well. In her initial days, Salman Khan guided her how to pursue her dreams, which helped her to get a good opening in a comedy drama called Fugly.
She along with novices like Mohit Marwah, Vijender Singh and Arfi Lamba acted in the said movie along with Jimmy Shergill. The film was a social thriller with a subtle message that was released in June 2014. The film got mixed reviews, however, Kiara got positive reviews by most of the B Town critics. She then came into limelight for getting rave reviews by the leading reviewers and critics. After her initial film, she has now got another called MS Dhoni: The Untold Story wherein she will be playing the character of MS Dhoni’s wife in opposite to Shushant Singh Rajput. The film is in its pre-production phase and is expected to hit the theatres in 2016.
