She did her schooling from DBMS English School from Jamshedpur, however, headed to Mumbai in 2007 to do her masters in Media Studies and after that she went for films to make a career in acting.
With a brief struggle she got the chance to enter in South Indian Cinema getting a Telugu movie called Chanakyudu opposite the actor Tanish. The next film was Yenidu Manasali, which was directed by Shrikanth HR and produced by the man called Niyaaz Ahmed. However, the project was shelved halfway leading to the unreleased of the film. She then was seen in a TV soap called Ek Ghar Banaunga, which was aired at Star Plus. This followed by her debut in a Bollywood films called Drishyam playing the character of the elder (adopted) daughter of Ajay Devgn.
The very same year in 2015, she was seen doing a Kannada movie called Raja Rajendra wherein she did her supporting role.
