As per the letter, the Chairman (CBFC)  Prasoon Joshi was seen forwarding the objection stating that such scenes are fiction and has nothing to do with the reality. Such things never happen in any jail and that the jail authorities do take all the care to make it clean and healthy for everyone. He said even the dreaded criminals never had faced such incidences that have been shown in the film with Sanjay Dutt facing such issues. The letter said that such scenes would malign the image of Indian Police and their systems in place.
