Catch What B-Town Call Kathua & Unnao Rape Cases
As we hear the slogan of the current government Beti Bacho, the issue has seen going at the backburner. The ongoing rapes with every passing day bear testimony to this. Most of the cases are not reported while a few that go viral over the media showcase the callousness of the people in power and their hypocritical approach towards the Beti Bacho campaign. Unfortunately the people in power seems to be behind raping the minors and young girls the recent rape incidents at Unnao by a BJP MLA and Kathua by police and other people in power shows how woman dignity has gone down. The Bollywood has been sensitive about the issue of women protection and when they come across such incident their voice tough.
The incidents have touched their conscience and they have aired their tough views on the microblogging calling the acts to be gut wrenching and disgusting. The members of the B Town celebs like Farhan Akhtar, Javed Akhtar, Nimrat Kaur and other have called the act to be horrendous and have demanded for a justice. Soon others joined the voice castigating the murder and the rape of the teenager and minor, which include Tisca Chopra. She said was pained to hear about the news and said how fast the government would react would be the test of the government. She further said that she will not vote such people in the coming elections.
Some of the divas including Kalki Koechin was seen posting photographs with a poster in her hand asking justice for the girls. The others who joined the microblogging site include Tamannaah Bhatia, Renuka Shahane, Swara Bhasker, Vir Das, Rahul Dholakia, Nikkhil Advani, Rahul Bose, RichaChadha, Sophie Choudry, and many more reacted on this incident. It is a shameful act for the nation to have such incidences propelling in the country. And the irony is that when people do not get justice they try to seek it by putting them into fire. So, when the lady who tried to commit by igniting a fire, the police acted against her bringing her husband behind the bar and then allowing him to die rather than arresting the culprit who is behind this heinous crime.
