This time SRK chose train to promote his movie. He was seen travelling by train from Mumbai to Delhi, to promote his next release Raees. The train will cover the cities including Surat, Vapi, Baroda, Valsad, Bharuch amongst other. The superstar’s arrival invited a swarm of fans to the stations. The crowd gathered in huge number to have a glimpse at their favorite superstar at Baroda. But all the fans were in for a disappointment, as it was not that easy to meet SRK.
Police were deployed at every station so that the situation remains under control, but unfortunately the number of policemen at the stations was easily outnumbered by Shah Rukh’s fans. Things did get a little out of control at Baroda station, and the police had to resort to Lathi Charge to bring the crowd in control. Shah Rukh is doing as much as he can. He is leaning out of the door at every station and waving at his fans. And well, that is about as much he can do in this situation, and on this tour.
Shah Rukh is accompanied by Sunny Leone, Ritesh Sidhwani, Rahul Dholakia on this 12 hour long train journey to Delhi. Also, select media personnel are also on-board the train, with the Raees crew. SRK is interacting with the media present, and is talking about everything – his kids, last travel on train, Chayya Chayya, and of course Raees.
Talking about his train journey, SRK said, “I can read a book, listen to music, take out my laptop and watch a new series or write – I do write when I’m travelling a lot. I find that time really nice to write. Flying is the only time I get myself. Because when you’re shooting so much, you’re being somebody else on set.. so you barely get any time to just be yourself. You’re always a certain type at work – you’re coming to sets, you have to learn your lines, you have to play your part, so we hardly get time to be just us.
