In the recent buzz, the Maoists who are termed as the left wing terrorists were seen slamming The Khiladi of Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar for extending the financial support to families of 12 CRPF jawans of the Maoist ambush at Bhejji in the Southern Bastar district of Sukma in Chhattisgarh on March 16. The Maoists also warned the Badminton icon Sania Nehwal for the same and have warning the celebrities against giving support to slain men’s families killed in counter-insurgency operations.
In a press release issued by south sub-zonal committee of outlawed CPM, the rebels were seen sending out a message to the said celebrities along with the corporate houses who have been helping the victims’ family and asked them not to extend help to them and rather back the rebels in their struggle against oppressive forces. The Maoist also released pamphlets condemning the actor and Badminton player, which were recovered in aforementioned areas of Dantewada on Sunday. The Maoists were seen circulating the the pamphlets on the occasion of their week-long celebration of 50th birth anniversary that would end on Monday claimed a senior police officer posted in Bastar. The pamphlets were written both in Hindi and the tribal language of Gondi as well.
Earlier, the actor was seen announcing 10 lakhs for the Jawan’s families who were killed in March this year in the above said encounter. Similarly, the lady badminton player Saina Nehwal to announced Rs 50,000 each to the families of the 12 slain jawans. Akshay Kumar is the man behind the government website bharatkeveer.gov.in which allows anyone to make direct monetary donations to the families of martyred soldiers of paramilitary forces.
