As per the latest buzz, the film Hindi Medium has crossed 110 crore mark at the global box office. So far we could see the film has managed to earn 96.49 crores and its inching towards entering the 100 crore club now at the box office in India, while the global collection has gone up to around 111.49 crores. In this way the film has managed to become a hugely profitable film for its makers. The film was produced with a meager budget of around 22 crores including P and A, while the collection for the film has gone up to the profit range of 45 crores taking the collection percentage of around 204 percent.
The film has managed to become the 5th top grosser of 2017 after the movies like Baahubali, Jolly LLB 2, Kaabil, Raees and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. It has managed to recover 15 crores from selling out the digital satellite rights along with the music and overseas rights as well. Despite finding limited number of screens the film is facing tough competition but the word of mouth buzz for the movie has been the savior of the film.
Irrfan Khan who has played the lead character in this film claims that he is really overwhelmed with the response, which his latest release Hindi Medium has been getting from the audience. The film deals with the English Vs. Hindi Medium discussion and happens to be satire for this issue. It is directed by Saket Chaudhary who has give movies like Pyaar Ke Side Effects and Shaadi Ke Side Effects.
