Fast & Furious 7 Movie Review : Catch High Octane Action

Fast & Furious 7

The much awaited movie – Fast and Furious 7 known as Furious 7 is finally hit the theaters. This is essentially the tribute to Paul Walker who has been the part of the previous sequels of Fast & Furious franchise but unfortunately lost his life in a car accident in November 2013. The main cast of Furious 7 includes Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Kurt Russell, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Djimon Honsou and Lucas Black, while the direction comes from the talented man called James Wan. The run time of the film is 2 hours and 17 minutes. Now, let’s dig in to the film and find out what’s there inside the film.

One of the best part of the film is the last ten minutes of the movie, which is the crux of the 7th sequel. However, in order to reach out to this ten minutes of the movie, you are supposed to endure an onslaught of bizarre and ear deafening action sequences, which all are sprinkled with a couple of humorous and emotional moments, which are seen taking place all over the continents. Nonetheless, this film is a high octane, fierce, adventure escapade which is also somewhere frivolous in nature. The film simply overshadows the expectations of its fans. The story of the film is seen taking off from where it was seen getting left in its earlier edition and the very next moment it is seen starting up stressing over the personal belongings like friends and family ties.

The narration of Furious 7 starts with Dominic Toretto played by Vin Diesel and the mighty team. The team members are though haunted about their past but at the same time are seen trying to settle down to a somber lifestyle. However, Deckard Shaw played by Jason Statham is the man who has lost his brother, is stubborn on taking revenge of the death of his brother. After a number of attempts to regulate the ailing brother (Shaw), Dominic and his team members are seen approaching a competent FBI Agent called Like Hobbs played by Dwayne Johnson. Unfortunately, he is seen getting struck to a hospital having a bandaged arm and with his daughter in order to monitor him.

You find Hobbs advising Dominic to get the help from another man who is a secret CIA operative agent played by Kurt Russell, who often is seen introducing himself as Mr. Nobody. The CIA agent then agrees to oblige them provided if the team of Dominic would be seen securing the sharp tracking device for the US Government. On the contrary, there is another group comprising of mercenaries that is led by a man called Jakande played by Djimon Honsou is also seen trying to lay their hands over their tracking device. is The director- James Wan who is known for giving some really good horror movies include Saw and The Conjuring, this time he was once again able to deliver an action packed movie, keeping abreast with its pedigree.

Unfortunately, the usage of talk-heavy exposition and consistent loud action scenes, which is present from the start to finish, simply mars the narration very much tedious. These can simply numb your senses compelling you to snatch away the forty winks. However, when you get rid of your slumber, you end up relishing some outrageous action sequences showcased at post-card locales along with some unusual kind of stunts which simply include fisticuffs and street-style fighting and some of these are found to be a nail-bitingly edgy. The dialogues of the movie are very much crisp and tempered with incredible one liner, which you can find the same in different sequels of this franchise. These are especially seen during the moments of one-upmanship when you find the cast that keeps on ribbing their opponents very much slow. These can act as a reminder of what the movie is all about.

Now, talking about the performances, there is nothing very much exception to discuss about. Emoting has never been the key point of all these action heroes. They can deliver some strong lines in off bearing fashion, while the ladies are not that great too. Also, talking about the visuals, the adrenaline rush about the speed thrills is seen created with smarter edits and sound design layouts. Now talking about the songs and the lyrics, the one at the end, we have come a long way, found as a background score is really very much touching.

Fast & Furious Review last word

Furious 7 embarks with a humane angle, which is seen with a touching tribute to Walker putting their complete series into perspective and thus will be seen making a number of eyes teary. Suddenly, a number of flaws of the film are seen disappearing. Overall, the movie can only appeal to the fans of the series.
