Think of Emraan Hashmi, the very first thing that comes in your mind is his image of ‘serial kisser’. And he is among few actors who seemed to be not very much apprehensive to talk about it. In his recent interview with a leading daily when Emraan Hashmi was asked regarding this issue when he said that a wide range of his films wherein he was showing kissing did very well in the start of his career. Hence the tag of his life has become the part and parcel of his life. He further said that people like to be called with different labels and unlike others, he also enjoyed his tag, which has benefited him a lot.
In the interview he said that he is actually more than a serial kisser and now wants to grow as an actor. Emraan then added that when people evolve as an actor and try and explore a new and varied avenues, the tag of his in B Town will become like a deterrent for people . People tend to like you more in such specific kind of roles. But for every actor, there comes a saturation point and that he will find new kind of roles.
Now as we see Emraan gearing up for his next film called Baadshaho with Milan Lutharia who is the director of the film, he seems to have a very different experience. One can find him in a very different kind of role wherein he plays a Rajasthani guy for the first time. The film is made at the backdrop of 1975 Emergency Period and has actors like Ajay Devgn, Ileana D’Cruz, Esha Gupta and Vidyut Jammwal in the pivotal roles.
