Amitabh Bachchan has a number of movies lined up this year and next. He is busy shooting for the film Thugs of Hindostan in Malta with B Town actors like Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh. He is also working on the other film called 102 Not Out with Rishi Kapoor at the same time. Amidst all this we now hear that the megastar will be now be seen in a key role in a film called Dragon starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. As per one of the leading daily, the actor would be seen in a film directed by Nagraj Manjule who is opening his innings in Bollywood.
He has been awarded for his film Sairat last year for his incredible efforts and now he wants to make a social drama with the mega star wherein Big B will have a role of a patriarch which will be a negative role for the actor to play. Well, we all know Nagraj and his fame due to his Marathi movie called Sairat that went on to break a number of awards not just getting a couple of National Awards in India but also from other places in the world. The upcoming B Town debut venture of this director will be then remade in languages like Punjabi and Telugu while Karan Johar is likely to be the part in B Town to support Nagraj in his efforts.
Taking a dig on this movie, the Marathi filmmaker, Nagraj has planned to make this movie first in Marathi, but after getting the success of Sairat, he is now keen on expanding his horizon to the Hindi Cinema. As per the sources close to him, Nagraj was seen narrating the script to Bachchan in January this year and the megastar has given his consent for the same.
