The Riteish Deshmukh & Vivek Oberoi starrer movie called Bank Chor recently released this Friday seems to have a meager figure over the box office. After having a very bad start this Friday, the film continued to move forward with the same pace. In the first two days, the film managed to get only 3.06 crore while Sunday also had similar figure with a bit of inflation. Thanks to the India Pak Final match the film failed to get a good audience.
Though the makers were expecting a good flow for the film this Sunday but it somehow failed to get a decent weekend collection. The makers of the film though had a different and self-deprecating promotional strategy but it failed to get much of the collection at the box office. The film only managed to get 700 screens in India, while it was made a modest budget of Rs 15 crore which include the Rs 10 crore for the cost and production while it allocated Rs 5 crore for the promotions and advertisement.
As per reports, the 1st weekend box office collection for Bank Chor went on to around 6.5 crores. The film has barely 4 days to recover the money it has invested in it as we have the most awaited movie of Salman Khan called Tubelight, which is hitting this Friday. Hence with Tubelight, the film Bank Chor has no way out to get the collection heading to a decent figure. With this week’s end the film is likely to recover its collection.
