Alia Bhatt is certainly among the successful actors in B Town. She has given back to back some really good movies which were applauded by both the audience and critics alike. Now, as per the latest buzz, she is gearing up for next venture called Raazi, which is to be directed by Meghna Gulzar. The film has the talented and bubbly actress in it who would be seen playing the character of a Kashmiri woman who marries a Pakistani official played by Vicky Kaushal and then she becomes the spy for India. This film is based on a book known as Calling Sehmat by Harinder S Sikka.
Now, we hear that the film has hit the floor as we hear Karan Johar sharing this news on his Twitter page for sharing this news. He was seen tweeting by posting the clapper board wherein he said “The journey of #RAAZI begins today!!! All the best to all of us!! @meghnagulzar @DharmaMovies @JungleePictures @aliaa08 @vickykaushal09” Alia Bhatt is working hard for the character and she has learnt Urdu to play the role of a Kashmiri girl. She underwent the training for driving a very heavy jeep.
When she was asked whether she has read the novel, she denied doing so and said that she was attracted towards this film when the makers have approached her around a year before. She accepted just by hearing a one line story idea. She said that she would love to play such character in this film. She nodded for the film even without reading the script considering the fact that the film made her interested. She said she has chosen the movie only because she likes to do challenging characters and hence she had chosen movies like Highway, Udta Punjab, Dear Zindagi and now with Raazi. She then said that though she is nervous about this character but at the same time excited as well.
